Van Miltenburg, a beloved meeting place in De Bilt since 1928, wanted to see its rich history and Burgundian lifestyle reflected in a revamped visual identity. The establishment is known for its warm atmosphere, personal attention and award-winning homemade dishes. The challenge for Loaded ink was to design a timeless, authentic branding that emphasizes both the historical value and modern hospitality. In addition, we designed liquor bottle labels for voor de Van Miltenburg premium spirits line, in which all the new identity elements form one cohesive whole.

To visually translate the core values of Van Miltenburg – hospitality, quality, authenticity, personal attention and community – we took a timeless and authentic approach. The brand identity is created with a classic aesthetic that honors Van Miltenburg’s rich history of almost a century, while feeling contemporary at the same time.

Besides the brand identity, we aligned the liquor bottle labels for voor de Van Miltenburg premium spirits line. Each label tells a story, with subtle references to the nostalgic atmosphere and history of the establishment. The packaging design ensures that every drink served by Van Miltenburg is an extension of the warm experience guests enjoy.

The final result of the rebranding is a consistent and recognizable visual identity that appeals to both new and returning guests. The new logo exudes timeless elegance, while the labels of the premium spirits line perfectly match the authentic atmosphere of the establishment. The rebranding has contributed to a stronger brand experience and strengthens the connection between Van Miltenburg and its guests, both B2C and B2B. This ensures that Van Miltenburg is not just an establishment, but a place where people feel at home and make great memories.
