Pop aan Zee, an initiative of the Province of Zeeland, serves as a dynamic platform for the development of musical talent in the Zeeland pop music scene. It is a beacon for musicians from all genres, from rock bands to hip-hop artists and singer-songwriters, providing resources for both musical and business growth. The need for a distinctive brand identity for Pop aan Zee that resonates with the vibrant energy and diversity of the Zeeland pop music landscape was clear.

Our goal was to create a brand identity for Pop aan Zee that not only reflected the dedication to nurturing musical talent, but also embodied the eclectic spirit of the broad Zeeland pop music scene. The designed identity therefore needed to appeal to a wide range of musicians and stakeholders, while at the same time remaining true to the raw, authentic atmosphere of the music culture.

In our journey to create the Pop aan Zee brand identity, we embraced a collaborative approach. Working closely with renowned photographer Marcel Kentin, we aimed to capture the Pop aan Zee vibe. Kentin’s expertise in portraying the diversity and authenticity of the Zeeland scenery was instrumental in shaping the brand’s visual story.

The creation of the brand identity for Pop aan Zee demonstrates the power of collaborative creativity and a profound understanding of the cultural landscape. By teaming up with Marcel Kentin and a sharp focus on the essence of the Zeeland pop music scene, we have delivered a brand identity that not only speaks to musicians, but also vibrates to the rhythm of the entire music culture in the Province of Zeeland.
